The Missouri Gaming Commission held its monthly meeting today in Jefferson City. Among highlights was the approval of the new two dollar beige chip. Why two dollars? Even increments. Why beige? Because it goes with everything! Not really. Beige was a color suggested by industry, and represents a distinct separation between other colors.
In other matters the Commission approved the relicensure of Paltronics, extended the license of
Tech Art Manufacturing and approved settlement agreements for Argosy, and Isle of Capri.
It was the first meeting under the direction of Chairman Jim Mathewson.
The MGC also approved hearing officer recommendations which kept seven license applicants from being approved. Most of the seven did not disclose criminal arrests during the application process.
